This workshop will take families on a journey of story telling through early African American music forms.... from the call and response chants in the cotton fields to the" RICKETY JAZZ CAFE" ( a story of an old rickety cafe set in the deep south where everyone has to sing, dance and impress folk with razy stories to get their supper) Hilarious ensemble story telling through traditional Jazz and Blues songs will be celebrated in this workshop.  Time travel through great American music traditions while creating an instrument to take home.
